Our clerkship program is focused on developing lawyers for the future and appeals to students who are self-motivated, curious, resourceful and enjoy working as part of a team.

As a clerk, you will become an important member of our project teams. You will experience the practical side of working in a law firm, receive training on our office procedures and resources, and participate in legal education and firm-wide training sessions. Clerks collaborate with senior members of the LK team, gaining direct insight into how legal work is delivered. Along the way, support is provided by dedicated mentors and buddies who are invested in each clerk’s development.

An LK clerkship isn’t just a short-term experience – it is your pathway to a long-term career with us. We actively invest in clerks who show initiative, capability and commitment, with many offered ongoing part-time roles while they complete their studies.

Our graduate program is built on this foundation. All our graduate lawyers begin their journey with LK as clerks, gaining valuable experience and building connections that support a seamless transition into associate roles upon admission.
